The photographer Sean Azzopardi has been awarded with Youtube’s Silver Play Button for reaching 100,000 subscribers on his channel ‘@seanazzopardiphotography’, which features various montages of street photography that he takes all over the island.

The photographer generally stops random people walking in the street and asks to take their photo, with his videos showing the entire interaction – from his request to photograph them, to his directions while taking the photos themselves, and eventually showing of the final results.

The Silver Play Button award, aside from adding an extra layer of credibility and professionalism to one’s channel, also comes with the eligibility to apply for a digital verification badge.

Other Maltese Youtubers who managed this achievement are meme master ‘Grandayy’ for his satirical videos, and beauty queen Stella Cini, who was bestowed with the Silver Play Button at just 19 years old, after hitting 100,000 subscribers on her hair and beauty videos.

Sean Azzopardi’s photos and videos have undoubtedly left countless individuals with beautiful memories, and can now celebrate his achievement as begins on the road to global recognition!
