Clear blue skies on the horizon! Latest forecasts signal relief from Sahara Desert conditions for Malta
On Thursday (today), Maltese Islands Weather shared that long-term maps suggest that the islands “might be done” with airborne fine desert sand and dirty rain for this spring.
Delivering the good news, the weather page also commented that the islands should expect blue skies.
For countries, particularly those situated near deserts, airborne fine desert sand is a common occurrence during the spring months.
Having experienced this weather for the past few weeks many complained of strong allergies.
Meanwhile, today’s weather is sunny, with clouds expected to increase gradually throughout the day. Temperatures are forecasted to reach a high of 29°C (feels like 31°C) and a low of 18°C.
The wind is expected to shift from West Northwest at Force 3 to 4 early in the day, to West at Force 2 to 3 later.
The UV index has already reached nine, indicating very high levels.
For those planning to swim later today, the sea temperature is currently 20°C.
As for the rest of the week, similar weather is expected on Friday, to become less stable on Saturday with chances of rain, followed by cloudy weather after.
Summer is one step closer!
