This project, a collaboration between the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) and Infrastructure Malta (IM), will breathe new life into the square, which hasn’t seen significant updates in over 20 years. By summer 2026, the square will feature a brand-new design and upgraded infrastructure, including improvements to the underground services and the roads leading to this iconic area.
