Brace yourself! July kicks off with strong winds and cooler temperatures in Malta
Risk of rain remains low this week, but seas will be rough!

Francesca Vella

July begins today, and with it brings a short break from the blistering heat of the past few days. The highest temperature expected from tomorrow till Friday, according to Maltese Islands Weather, won’t exceed 29 degrees, with the lowest temperature reaching a real feel of a cool 18 degrees on Wednesday night!

If you’re planning any days out at sea, however – be warned! Strong northwest winds are forecast from Tuesday to Thursday, reaching a peak on Wednesday with forces between 7 and 8.

The risk of rain is relatively low, at a high of 15% on these three days, but the sea is promised to be rough, so it might be best to postpone any ferry crossings to Gozo for another day, if possible!

Are you looking forward to the change in weather?
