If you've been in Malta since the 1980s, know someone who has, or often find yourself in Xemxija, chances are you've heard of Beachaven - the iconic beach club that has been a cornerstone of Malta’s summer scene for decades. And if you haven’t, now’s your chance to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a look at some of the club’s recently shared throwback photos, dating back to the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

First opened by Godwin Cutajar in 1977, Beachaven started as a beach club and restaurant, quickly becoming a go-to destination for sunseekers by day and partygoers by night. Whether it was sipping cocktails by the sea or dancing the night away to sets from top local DJs, Beachaven’s open-air setup - right by the water’s edge - created the perfect backdrop for unforgettable summer memories.

As the years passed, Beachaven adapted to the ever-changing entertainment scene, hosting themed nights, live music, private events, and some legendary parties. While it holds a special place in the hearts of those who grew up in the 90s and 2000s, the club continues to keep its legacy alive, occasionally opening its doors for special events.

When was the last time you visited this timeless beach club? Share your favourite Beachaven memories!
