If you’ve had enough of the humid heat hanging over the Maltese Islands this week, here’s some good news for you! Maltese Islands Weather predicts that the beginning of next week will first bring a 60% chance of thunderstorms on Monday, followed by a drop in the maximum temperatures from Tuesday, all of which fall below 30°C.

The shift in temperature will be aided by the change in wind direction, which is currently south-easterly but should be changing to north-westerly by Tuesday. Winds should get slightly stronger midweek, bringing more chance of storms towards the end of week.

Nighttime temperatures will also be taking a dip after Monday’s storms, reaching lows of 23 degrees and a real feel of 22. Time to restart those evening strolls!
