Attention local gamers! Gaming content creator spotlights game set in Malta
The adventure game even features Gozo!

The popular US gaming content creator that goes by the handle of @skylerguns is currently working through an interesting series in which he seeks out a video game based in every European country – and this week Malta got its turn!

Skylerguns speaks of the game ‘Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual’, a 2008 point-and-click adventure game, following an archaeologist, Sylvie Leroux, sent to some ruins to find her mysterious uncle. The game’s protagonist starts off in Paris, but then travels to Malta where most of the game is then spent.

From the clips shared by Skylerguns, one can spot streets that resemble Valletta, showing Maltese balconies and a church in the distance. Gozo is also featured in the game, as the location of the archaeological site where Sylvie Leroux searches for her uncle.

Skylerguns expressed surprise at the fact that such a small island features so heavily in an international game, however a game titled ‘Deliverance in Malta’ has also recently been announced, a satirical game in which the protagonist works as a food courier.

Had you ever heard of ‘Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual’?
