Attention drivers! Balluta Bay road closed towards Sliema until 16th May
Reroute to skip the jams!

If you're planning to drive through the Balluta Bay area this week or next, here's something you should know!

Triq Censu Tabone, the main road skirting Balluta Bay, has been closed to traffic heading towards Sliema due to essential infrastructural works by Enemalta. The closure began on Monday 5th May and is expected to last until Friday 16th May.

This busy stretch is frequently used by commuters heading into Sliema, and with traffic now being diverted through surrounding streets, the area is likely to experience increased congestion, especially during morning and evening rush hours.

Drivers heading in that direction are advised to plan ahead and, if possible, opt for alternative routes to avoid delays – especially if you were planning a scenic drive along the coast!

Stay safe and stay patient!
