Hollywood actor sings Valletta’s praises as he takes a tour of the city between bouts of filming for new series.
As one of Malta’s most popular beaches is closed to the public for filming of new series Genius – Picasso, actor Antonio Banderas, who will be playing the starring role, has been getting acquainted with the capital city, Valletta.
Taking to Instagram to share a few snaps of his tour of this year’s European Capital of Culture, the star captioned the shots, “Walking around La Valletta. Beauty everywhere.”
As local news sites reported filming of the series in Golden Bay earlier today, the actor, who is famous for his role in movies like The Mask of Zorro and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, looks to be enjoying his time in Malta, and is reported to be on the islands for filming for three days.
