A new season full of artistic excellence! Valletta’s Spazzju Kreattiv launches its 2023/24 programme

Spazju Kreattiv has just unveiled its highly anticipated program for 2023-2024. It promises to be a new season that builds on the strategic pillars of artistic brilliance community engagement and internationalisation.

The new programme will see of 520 events encompassing 15 diverse creative forms, all brought to life by more than 350 collaborating artists.

The Chairperson of Fondazzjoni Kreattività, Rupert Cefai, highlighted the importance and dedication to providing opportunities and steadfast support.

“As we enter this new chapter, we remain dedicated to providing opportunities and support to those who will continue to give shape and strengthen Malta's creative sector in the following year”, he explained.

Now in his fourth season as Artistic Director, Daniel Azzopardi explained how Spazju Kreattiv continues to be a key purveyor of inclusive debates and compelling creative and social differences.

“This new programme reflects our evolving strategy for the future, with an enhanced commitment to events’ curation that promotes quality and offers collaborators’ opportunities to strengthen their skills within a professional and stimulating environment”, he added.

Spazju Kreattiv continues to uphold its name as Malta's National Centre for Creativity. Inviting both emerging talents and seasoned artists to embark on this artistic adventure, it is not just about passive observation; it is about active participation, immersive experiences, and transcending boundaries to embrace a global perspective.

This season, the programme is thoughtfully designed to cater to every generation, ensuring that from seasoned senior citizens to vibrant young adults, everyone finds a place at the creative table.

For children, there are enchanting shows and engaging activities under the umbrella of the ŻiguŻajg Season.

Furthermore, through our Artists-in-Residency strand, international artists will collaborate with local communities around Malta and Gozo, creating bridges of cultural connection that resonate far and wide.
