Throwback to the good old days! Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum takes us on a journey through time with today's throwback photo.

Sliema, the star of this snapshot, is heavily associated with the sea and boasts of an extensive coastline and intriguing maritime history. Once a humble fishing village, Sliema transformed into a Victorian seaside haven and later blossomed into a thriving town.

In this throwback image, we glimpse the British-built artillery battery, a testament to the island's strategic importance in the 19th century. Beyond the military past, Sliema's charm extends to its famous rock-hewn pools, where Victorian bathers once sought solace and leisure.

This photo beautifully captures the layers of history that enrich Malta's coastal gem, Sliema.
