On the evening of November 29, 2024, you will witness the grandeur of Puccini's music in the historic setting of St. John's Co-Cathedral. This unique organ concert will feature some of Puccini's most powerful compositions, including previously unknown and never-before-performed pieces recently discovered at his house in Torre del Lago. The event will showcase both organs of the Co-Cathedral: the main nave organ and the historic 16th-century organ above the Oratory door, facing Caravaggio's Beheading of St. John, renowned for its rich tonal qualities. The concert will be performed by the internationally acclaimed organist Paolo Bottini in a venue celebrated for its architectural beauty and acoustics. It promises to be a memorable evening paying tribute to Puccini's musical genius.
