Ta’ Marziena Temple’s ruins can be found in Rabat quite hidden away amongst carob and prickly pear trees. The remaining slabs suggest that it would have had a five-apse structure within the enclosing wall. It is thought that this temple dates to the Ggantija and Tarxien temples. A few meters away from the temples, one can also find the Marziena windmill which were used as grain mills. This windmill was then used as a Hospital for a period of time and can now be appreciated for its cultural heritage.
