Some of your kids’ (or even yours!) favourite characters will be coming back to Malta this May, between the 27th and the 28th, for the third edition of the Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt.
First launched in 2019, the Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt will take place in Valletta offering a wide range of brand-new activities this year, designed specifically for kids and families to explore the beauty of our capital city through the power of Nickelodeon’s globally loved characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, Baby Shark, and others!
Your kids will get the chance to feel like little explorers out on an adventure. A Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt map will act as their guide as they experience a series of character-themed zones around Valletta. While they make their way towards the final destination, they are bound to create fun memories that they will treasure for a lifetime.

Valletta is set to be transformed into Nickelodeon land during this fun-packed weekend in Malta. Republic Street will turn into Transformers Zone starring a life-size Bumble Bee Transformer while Pjazza Teatru Rjal will host a Nickelodeon Dance Party featuring some of Nickelodeon’s biggest animated stars. Jean De Valette Square will be home to a PAW Patrol Zone including Malta’s real-life first responders from the Police and Fire Departments and a SpongeBob SquarePants Zone where families will be able to experience the world’s most famous sea-sponge like never before.
However, that’s not all! Across all zones, families will be able to join exclusive giveaways and take part in interactive augmented reality photo experiences, as well as entertaining character meet and greets.
On both days, a must-see Nickelodeon Parade will end the event, starting from Republic Street and finishing in Triton Square.
In addition to the Nickelodeon fun, families will be able to immerse in local culture, not exclusive to Valletta, through discounted tickets and offers for some of Heritage Malta’s must-see attractions such as Għar Dalam, ĦaÄ¡ar Qim and Mnajdra and Archaeological Park, National Museum of Natural History and Saint Paul’s Catacombs.
The Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt event will be free of charge, with no registration or ticket required to attend.
