Discover the beauty of St John’s Co-Cathedral through a unique artistic interpretation of its Baroque splendour.

Baroque Visions is an exhibition by Antoine Paul Camilleri exploring the intricate interiors, architectural details, and decorative richness of St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. Inspired by a long-held ambition to capture the historic landmark, Camilleri spent several months in 2025 studying and documenting its interiors, including areas not normally accessible to the public.

The collection features ten pyrography works and ten pen drawings, combining intricate wood-burning techniques with metallic hues to reflect the richness of Baroque ornamentation. A ceramic sculpture of Grand Master Manuel Pinto da Fonseca also forms part of the exhibition.

Curated by Melanie Erixon, assisted by Chrisallo Borg, and supported by MAPFRE MSV Life, Baroque Visions runs from 5 to 27 November at Bizzilla Art Space in Floriana. Opening hours are from 9am to 5pm, with last admission at 4:30pm.
