Well done! Young Maltese dancers make the top three at the World Ballroom and Latin Dutch Championships
They made the top three not once but twice!

Emma Galea

The two young Maltese dancers Airam Abela and Mia Mifsud have made their country very proud after they achieved both second and third place at the World Ballroom and Latin open and Dutch Championships.

The competition took place at Assen in the Netherlands and they “couldn’t be happier”.

Airam and Mia placed third in the Dutch Open Juvenile under 10 Latin Championship event, only being beat by China and the United States of America.

They then went on to place second in the Open World Juvenile Under 10 Latin Championship event as China took first place.

Airam and Mia were coached by Keane Scerri & Martina Camilleri.
