Time to vote! Gozo’s gorgeous Cittadella up for a European award
The competition is organised by the European Union.

Gozo’s very own Cittadella is up for a prestigious European award!

The old city, which is brimming with historical artefacts, was chosen from 300 European Union-funded sites to participate in this year’s Regiostars awards.

The Regiostars awards is a public competition organised by the European Union (EU) to celebrate the myriad of projects carried out on sites across EU countries.

This, however, is not the first time Cittadella is participating…

Cittadella took part in the Regiostars awards four years ago, in 2018, and placed third with a whopping 30,000 votes.

Maybe this year, Malta will be even luckier than before and take home first place – but that can only happen if we all come together in support of our home country and vote here.
