A new report compiled by ‘Travel giant Expedia’ shows that there are in fact days of the week where you can book cheaper flights.

Booking flights and holidays to and from Malta just got a whole lot easier!

One of the key points from the research shows that by booking flights on Sunday instead of Friday, you are bound to save up to 23%.

Booking early is of utmost importance but if you cannot, book flights 23 days to eight days before and avoid booking 36 to 63 days before as prices are more likely to sky rocket during this time.

Travellers that booked 162 to 180 days before departure saved up to 34% when compared to those who waited until the last minute.

It was also discovered that flights that leave on Friday tend to be cheapest while those that leave on Sunday tend to be the most expensive.
