Be warned! This major road will be closed for overnight road works this week
Best to avoid L-Imgarr Road this week.

Kim Vella

L-Imgarr road has been undergoing a facelift over the last few months, which has caused some frustration as drivers found it quite difficult to get through to Mgarr.

Well, finally, we have some good news: it’s almost done!

But first, a little warning!

Anyone passing through Mgarr this week better watch out, as tonight (Monday 11th), this Wednesday 13th, and Thursday 14th October, L-Imgarr Road will be closed for road works from the hours of 7pm to 6am.

Get ready for a major upgrade, as it’s time for some asphalt layering and placing of barriers to make this road as safe as possible for commuters. Construction workers have been working round the clock to finish off this road for us drivers, so, with a little more patience it should be done in no time!

Thank you to Infrastructure Malta for the warning, and all your hard work!
