Just wow!

Have you ever dreamt of spending a few nights in a unique location? We’ve got just the thing! Local NGO Din l-Art Helwa are giving you the opportunity to spend a few nights in an actual lighthouse. Say what?!

You can rent out the historic lighthouse at Delimara “for a unique break away from it all, especially at this time,” the NGO says in a Facebook post. And while you relax in this gorgeous setting, you’ll also be helping out the organisation as “funds from your reservations help us look after this magnificent place,” they shared.

A little bit about the lighthouse

The lighthouse was built in 1854 and offered a safe passage to Malta’s harbours to ships sailing from Suez and North Africa. Din l-Art Helwa restored the magnificent location and now offers visitor accommodation with breathtaking views.

The original building was lived in by the lighthouse keepers and had space for two families. It is now divided into two apartments that can accommodated up to 10 people, separately or together. If guests head up to its roof they will be met with stunning views of the surrounding coast. And the nearby bathing areas are definitely a plus!

To book your getaway, contact Din l-Art Helwa on 2122 5952/ 2122 0358 or send an email to [email protected].
