35 years later: Paceville’s ‘The Avenue’ to move premises later this month
Don’t worry – it’s only the location that’s changing.

Paceville’s ‘The Avenue’ – a beloved staple for local foodies – has revealed that it will be moving premises later this month.

The sought-after restaurant is closing its doors at Triq Gort by 21st August, but will be open again a mere four days later, on 25th August, at Portomaso.

‘The Avenue’ will be replacing ‘One Portomaso’ in St Julian’s, which closed its doors to customers last April.

“It's the last week to celebrate the end of a spectacular era at our Paceville location. After 35 years, we're relocating to One Portomaso,” the restaurant wrote on social media.

“You can expect exactly the same emphasis on exceptional food and family run service, now revitalised for our beloved community,” it continued.

The post’s comments section was soon flooded with messages from regular customers expressing their support for this new endeavour.

Are you planning on dining at the new location?
