Exclusive: a Maltese Londoner shoots music video in Malta

The first time I met Rhymestar, we were sitting at a commercial coffee house, sipping at the cold brews that acted as a buffer between the two awkward souls who planned to meet for an interview. We chatted, we laughed, we got along and kept in touch. Rhymestar was shooting a new music video titled Under the Influence, featuring stunning shots of our beautiful island, and now, it's out!

Rhymestar is half Maltese and claims Malta his spiritual home. He remembers the quirky things that make us smile, such as the Maltese pound, the traditional buses with string bells, the pre-air conditioned airport, the pre-tarmacked roads and collecting glass bottles on the beach to exchange them for money at the local bakery. He knows the ins-and-outs of old Malta, and feels a clear magnetization to our little rock - the crystal blue waters summon him from his London base.
