One of Malta’s longest-running charity concerts, Strummin’ has been bringing guitarists, singers and musicians together since its first edition in 2002. This year’s Riot & Rhythm continues that tradition with a high-energy programme of rock anthems and timeless favourites, performed by musicians of different ages and experience levels alongside the Strummin’ band. Strummin Foundation.

The 2026 theme gives the music something to say, with a selection of songs that respond to injustice, call for change and question whether things can be put right, all delivered through the raw energy of live, guitar-led performances. Taking place on 6 and 7 November at St Agatha’s Auditorium in Rabat, the concert is the result of months of work by performers and a dedicated team of volunteers both on stage and behind the scenes.

This year’s edition will support the Malta Guide Dogs Foundation, which provides professionally trained guide dogs free of charge to blind and visually impaired people across Malta and Gozo. Funds raised through Riot & Rhythm will help the organisation continue providing guide dogs, training and ongoing support, giving the concert a meaningful purpose beyond the music.
