It’s a fantastic day for Rebecca Zammit Lupi who will officially be free of chemotherapy today! Puttinu Cares shared the awesome news on their Facebook page this morning.

“Today is the day when Rebecca will be free of chemotherapy!!! A day to celebrate. We are so proud of you Rebecca. You are an inspiration and a true hero,” they shared.

The 14-year-old was battling cancer at hospital, even during the lockdown period of COVID-19. She and her father Darrin also shared the benefits of online learning that should be continued post-COVID especially for kids receiving treatment at hospital. Their appeal was even backed up by the President!
