Wednesday 24th November: 86 new COVID-19 cases and 39 recoveries recorded overnight

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 86 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The islands have registered 39 recoveries, meaning that the country’s total number of active cases now stands at 954.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 23rd November, Malta had administered 936,815 vaccine doses. 102,335 of these were booster doses.

No COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in Malta in the past 24 hours. This means that the country’s virus death toll remains at 464.

A total of 17 patients are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, two of whom are in ITU.
