Wednesday 1st December: Malta records 95 new cases and 70 recoveries overnight

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 95 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The islands have registered 70 recoveries, meaning that the country’s total number of active cases now stands at 1,213.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 30th November, Malta had administered 959,906 vaccine doses. 123,944 of these were booster doses.

No COVID-19 patients passed away in the past 24 hours. This means that the country’s virus death toll remains at 468.

A total of 11 patients are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, two of whom are in ITU.
