Attention boat owners! It is currently being advised to bring your boats, yachts and the like ashore ahead of the weekend as gusty winds will be making their way to the Maltese Islands.

“If you have boats, yachts etc ... moored along the coasts marked in red, you are advised to bring them ashore by the evening on Friday 25/09,” local forecaster Maltese Islands Weather shared on Facebook this morning.

“The West Northwest wind will reach Force 7/8 at times with gusts of up to Force 9 from Friday 25/09 evening till Sunday 27/09 morning. The sea will be very rough. A warning will be posted later.”
