The meteorological office at the Malta International has issued a yellow warning.

A video posted on the Facebook page ‘Malta Dizastru Totali’ shows the Gozo Channel in Maltese waters trying to make its way across.

The winds are extremely strong and have even gone up as high as Force Eight and Nine earlier today. Additionally, the meteorological office at the Malta International has issued a yellow warning.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the Gozo Channel is finding it hard to navigate the strong Maltese waters.

It’s not clear whether the ferry is on its way to Mgarr or to Cirkewwa.

As of now, the Gozo Channel is still yet to stop operating but the Gozo Fast Ferry has ceased all operations until further notice.
