Taking a stand.

Local band The Travellers have been climbing the ladder of fame locally, knocking down every obstacle in their path. And just yesterday, the Maltese ensemble released a brand new single entitled Umani (Maltese for 'humans') that speaks about equality no matter the race, gender or ethnicity.

In just a day, the lyric video has been viewed over 30,000 times. The band is one of a handful of Maltese ensembles to sing original songs in the native language.

Obviously, in true Maltese, passionate fashion, many raved about the new single, and naturally expressed their opinions about the new hit song (and by expressed we mean, naturally, posted on Facebook). Receiving an array of comments on their latest song, The Travellers still manage to win the hearts of the Maltese, with one guy even calling them "legends, always great work from you guys, well done."
