Over the years, Malta and Gozo have been used as filming locations for some pretty iconic TV series and movies such as ‘World War Z,’ ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed.’ This time, we’re taking a look at the 1969 movie ‘Vendetta for the Saint’ starring Roger Moore in the lead role.

The movie was filmed in various spots around Malta namely the Addolorata Cemetery, Mdina, Mellieha, Marsaxlokk, Verdala Palace, the Wignacourt Tower, the Grand Harbour, the Naxxar Church, among other spots.

This gem of a video clip we’ve discovered roaming on social media shows the scene filmed in Malta’s fishing village of Marsaxlokk.  A luzzu, women washing clothes by the sea and the Church square are all featured in the clip. We even spotted an old Maltese yellow bus! Those were the days!
