WATCH: Ellen speaks a bit of Maltese & mentions Malta in a new episode of the show
During a recent programme on Ellen DeGeneres’ show Ellen was talking about her Audience Olympics which she’s recently come up with considering that her virtual audience come from all over the world.
Last week, Malteser Ryan Calleja took part in the first edition: the bottle flip challenge. On this show, Ellen was recalling the episode saying she’s now trying to learning how to say ‘thank you’ in a bunch of different languages. She even says ‘Grazzi’ at a point.
“Last week there were people from countries that had never been a part of my audience before, like Malta. There were some countries that I didn’t even know were countries. Like Malta,” she says. Yeah, Ellen we get that all the time. We’re the tiny fish-shaped island below Italy and Sicily. Squint a bit and you’ll see us. We’re there. Come visit us sometime!
