A very welcome sight!

We love to watch wildlife do their thing and it seems like these fin whales are loving Maltese waters. Yet another fin whale (balena kbira in Maltese) has been spotted off the Maltese coast.

“This video was taken earlier this week along the coast of Qbajjar (Gozo) by Rod Sammut,” local biologist Alan Deidun shared on social media, showing the video that features the whale popping up a little to say hello to onlookers.

This is the second whale spotting this month after a similar fin whale was spotted from Gozo’s Sanap Cliffs.
