Valletta’s Our Lady of Mount Carmel church closed until 2nd August, community in quarantine

The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, which is seen in all of the skyline snapshots will be closed until 2nd August, the community has revealed after what is understood to be a situation related to Covid-19.

“From tonight, 20th July until 2nd August as a preventive measure the community will observing quarantine,” the Carmelite Priory Valletta Facebook page read. They also noted that as a result, the Basilica itself will also be closed until 2nd August.
