Today's figures have been officially shared by health authorities.
The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered one new case of COVID-19 after 1,432 swabs were done in the past 24 hours.
The islands have registered three more recoveries, bringing the total recovery tally to 30,083 and the number of active cases to 70. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 30,572 cases and has performed 943,984 swab tests. Thankfully, no deaths have been registered over the past 24 hours meaning the local death toll remains at 419.
The post also noted that until yesterday, 7th June, 558,320 vaccine doses have been administered to various people on the islands. 329,000 of these were first doses while 238,807 people are now fully vaccinated.
