When one door shuts…
Quirky, cute and – best of all – bright pink! Nestled in many of Malta’s towns and villages, the doors captured and shared through maltadoors , feature a wide array of traditional features, set against some not-such traditional colours.
Eat it before it melts!
A stay on the islands is not complete without a visit to the Blue Lagoon, with ice cream melting down your hands as you grip the cone, hoping you finish on time!
The man in the mirror
The Maltese islands are known for their memorable diving experiences. Whether it’s off Dwejra or St Paul’s islands, there’s something for everyone deep underwater.
Romancing the city
Valletta is a city to fall in love with and to fall in love in. It is especially captivating in the early morning glow as shades of pink kiss its yellow limestone walls.
Strips of colour
Bright yellow and blue are the colours of sun and sea; of summers and salty lips; of warmth on your fingertips and clear skies. They are the colours of Malta.
Going together like a horse and carriage
The people of Malta are known to be as warm as a freshly baked loaf of Maltese bread, preferably eaten while sitting on the back of a karozzin (traditional horse-drawn carriage).
Stairway to heaven
Cool, fresh, glorious – and Gozitan – heaven!
How did he get up there?
The aqueducts which run across the island were used to transport water, but nowadays offer great panoramic views.
Visit Malta
Sunsets in Malta and Gozo are as deep as the Mediterranean, especially when enjoyed from a high point such as this.
A taste of the past
From the art deco architecture of luxury hotels outside Valletta to the prehistoric temples, and the medieval fortifications surrounding hilltop towns, there are traces of the island’s history everywhere you look.
It fig-ures!
Is there a better taste of summer?
