Thursday 29th October: 106 new cases of COVID-19 for Malta & Gozo
The Health Ministry has just published official figures.

According to the figures published by the Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, Malta has registered 106 new cases of COVID-19 after 2,966 swabs were done in the past 24 hours.

The post also noted that “Today’s cases are still being investigated. From yesterday’s cases: 21 cases were family members of previously known cases, 22 were contacts of positive work colleagues, 7 cases were direct contacts of other positive cases, 2 cases were imported and 2 cases were from social gatherings with other positive cases.”

The islands have registered 91 more recoveries, bringing the total recovery tally to 3,880 and the number of active cases to 1,927. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 5,866 cases and has performed 329,546 swab tests.
