Three in a row?! Malta may have no new COVID-19 cases for a third consecutive day
This would be a first!

It seems like Malta is in for a third consecutive day with no new COVID-19 cases, or at least according to two reliable sources. Gerald Fenech posted earlier this morning on his Covid19 news updates page on Facebook that none had been found as of 7am today, and indicated that the R Factor had dropped below 0.5.

This figure was also matched by Dr Frank Portelli. The cut-off time for tests is generally 8am, with tests and any positive results done after that hour included in the following day's tally.

If this does turn out to be the case, Malta willl have marked a new national record and beat the one set yesterday of having two consecutive days without any new COVID-19 cases reported.

Fingers crossed!

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
