This new Parisian boutique has just opened in Valletta & we can't wait for spring weather!
Oui oui!

Nicole Parnis

We all love a new boutique, and we might just have found one of our new favourites! Perruche, which is French for Parakeet, has just opened its doors in St Lucy Street, Valletta, and their first collection is making us yearn for proper spring weather!

As the name implies, Perruche is a shop for those who are not afraid to experiment with colour and print. Their pretty window display showcases polka dot blouses and flippy, floral skirts. All the brands stocked are hand-picked and sourced in Paris, and most are made in France. There are very limited quantities of each garment, meaning you’re bound to look unique in a Perruche piece!

Owner Frédérique is a Parisian living in Malta. She explains that when she first moved, she was unable to find independent boutiques in Valletta like the ones in which she used to shop in cities like Bordeaux and Lyon. She missed the personal atmosphere of her favourite shops in France, so she decided to set up one of her own! Her ethos is to stock quality pieces by original, chic brands at fair prices.

Apart from feminine tea dresses and colourful cotton shorts, you’ll also find a great selection of accessories and handbags to get the full Parisienne look. We can’t wait to raid the rails!
