The rain is here! Spectacular Instagram shots of the electrical storm currently hitting Malta

After a long, hot summer, the heat and beach days have rolled by and rainy days are upon us. The long awaited stormy weather is here to usher in the colder 'sweater weather' months, making us wish we could just stay in bed with a nice cup of joe and a good book. But, if nothing else, the storm really knows how to bring the drama to Malta's sky, putting on a spectacle that's just as Insta-worthy as our beaches on a sunny day!

Unusual sky

Just above the prehistoric Skorba temples in Zebbiegh, the sky seems to have something in store for the Maltese Islands… though we didn't have to wait long to see what’s coming.
