Attention drivers – especially northerners! As from today, Infrastructure Malta has announced that Tal-Mizieb Road in Mellieha (you know, the one that we all use as a shortcut to get to Mellieha) will be “closed for a week.”

The entity said that surface maintenance as well as the “installation of new crash barriers” will be carried out. “Access to residents, to the area’s farmers or to render other services in this rural road will remain open,” IM said, noting that drivers should use alternative routes through Selmun Hill or Manikata.
