Sweater weather, is that you? Malta to expect sudden drop in temperatures in the coming days
Heads up, folks!

As September comes to a close, the Maltese Islands have barely seen any sweater weather after the scorching summer. However, as we welcome in Autumn, it seems things are about to change.

After today and tomorrow’s partly cloudy weather, Malta could experience a thunderstorm and isolated showers over the weekend, which may bring about quite the sudden drop in temperatures – we’re talking anywhere between 8°C and 10°C. Brr!

According to Malta Weather, this is all due to “cold arctic air” as it “penetrates the central Mediterranean” which might even result in “gale force north-westerly winds over the weekend, especially on Saturday.”

Earlier today, forecaster Maltese Islands Weather also noted the drop in temperature, with highs of 23°C (feels like 24°C) over the weekend.
