St Paddy’s is right around the corner! Here’s all the fun you can get up to this weekend
Many will have planned their St Paddy’s day activities weeks, if not months in advance. Whether it’s bar hopping, indulging in a huge burger or getting, well, zibel on Sunday, there are many options to consider. But if you still have absolutely no clue as to what you’re doing this weekend (like me), here’s all the fun you can get up to this St Paddy’s Day.
1. St Paddy’s Day in the city
Head over to the capital to celebrate St Paddy’s, featuring live performances by Gianni & Papps, Kersten Graham and powerhouse The Busker. The event is in collaboration with Jameson Irish Whiskey and Guinness, so it’s safe to say you’ll be drinking the best of the best!
2. St Paddy’s Festival at Tigullio
This festival is known to be a banger! With a line up 25 DJs, get ready to party all day at Tigullio starting at noon until 4am, because why not? Entrance is free, too!
3. Street party at Big G’s and Quenchers
This one’s a favourite among locals, and it’s back to bring you another crazy St Paddy’s Day. With an awesome line-up and Mizzi G starring the show, Quenchers and Big G’s are ready to give you an afternoon you’ll never forget! (Or maybe you will, depending on how sloshed you get).
4. Tex Mex Que-Shi’s first St Paddy’s Day
The newly refurbished Tex Mex Que-Shi is back and ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day in the heart of Spinola. Ziggy, Mykill, Ryan Spiteri, El Gringo, Brady and Gem will be there to get you moving until the sun goes down!
5. Drink up at Hugo’s Pub
In true Irish fashion, there will be loads of Guinness on tap at Hugo’s Pub, along with other beers and favourite spirits for you to slurp. Live sports events will be shown, The Red Hackled Pipe Band will be performing live and DJ Attila Ekis will be on the decks. Hugo’s will also be giving away loads of Guinness merch, too!
6. St Patrick’s Special featuring Owen Leuellen
He’s the man, Owen Leuellen! Havana is bringing back the X Factor finalist for a performance like never before. Party the Havana way with Owen Leuellen from 5pm onwards! The event is strictly 17+, so bring along your ID to avoid disappointment.
7. St Paddy’s at Crust
Crust is going all out for the occasion! The bakery, bar and bistro will be opening for breakfast, brunch and lunch until 3pm, giving you plenty of time to grab a cheeky bite between bars! From 3pm onwards, the terrace will be transformed, with a full-stocked bar and the talented Panelli on the decks till 7pm!
Where will you be heading this St Paddy's Day?
