So heart-warming! Chow-chow rescued from abusive Zejtun breeder finds a loving forever home
He’s gained some awesome family members!

Remember Toby? He was the chow-chow that was rescued, among other puppers, from the abusive breeder in Zejtun in September and was receiving care at the Association for Abandoned Animals. He arrived at the shelter with infected skin and a terrible smell that resulted in him having to be isolated from other dogs. But, thankfully, his ordeal has come to an end as he’s officially found a forever home!

Toby, now named Salvu has joined papas Glenn and Kurt who rescued another chow-chow a few years back – Stilla, who’s become quite the Insta Queen!

“And look at him now, all shaved up, cosy at home and hopefully his fur will grow back! Thank you dearest Glenn and Kurt for adopting once again,” the AAA said, sharing a bunch of photos of Salvu, Stilla, Glenn and Kurt enjoying their new home life.

Glenn also shared the fantastic news on his socials this weekend. "Cant believe we are writing this but, THREE becomes FOUR," he started off. "When we saw him it was an instant reaction from both of us. Chows are obviously beautiful but definitely not an easy breed... they require commitment, time and lots of money. We are super excited and honored that we were now trusted with another life."

"Salvu...you’ve already been with us for two weeks and you settled in just perfectly. We’re so lucky to have you with us little man and we are ready to do magic with you like we did with Stilla and we promise to give you the best life possible," he continued. "Oh and our Stilla seems super happy too to share our home with Salvu."

We’re wishing you an awesome life ahead with your new fam, Salv! They’ll take great care of you. #AdoptDontShop
