Luzzu Restaurant takes its name from the traditional Maltese fishing boat, and the reference extends beyond branding — the restaurant has been a fixture on the Qawra seafront since 2002, building its identity around Mediterranean cooking with an honest relationship to the sea it faces. The menu covers pizza, pasta, grilled fish, rabbit dishes and seasonal Maltese specials alongside international crowd favourites, with gluten-free options available across much of the selection. A bright, spacious interior and a terrace with sea views are complemented by a dedicated children's play area, making Luzzu one of the more family-oriented seafront venues in the north of the island. The adjacent lido — with pool, sun terraces and changing facilities — extends the Luzzu experience beyond the meal itself, particularly through the summer months.
