Getting used to lengthy sunny spells in Malta is quite easy considering we're blessed with 300 days of those every year, but after weeks of warm weather, a change is now on its way.

A quick peek outside your balcony and window will reveal overcast skies, with medium-to-heavy rainfall reported across most of Malta, including Marsaxlokk, Zebbug and Burmarrad.

The climate feels chilly when compared to recent days with weather forecasts indicating that scattered showers are expected to last throughout the day. Lovers of summer weather need not fear, as sunny weather will resume from tomorrow. However, rainfall is once again expected on Saturday.
