One policewoman’s valiant efforts are enough to restore an entire nation’s faith in humanity…

Earlier today, the Malta Police Force took to social media to share a message sent by the mother of a four-year-old girl who found herself in a rather dangerous situation.

“I would like to commend and thank the policewoman in Rabat (outside St Paul’s Church), who jumped out in front of a car to save my four-year-old daughter from being run over as she was scooting to catch up with my husband,” the mother wrote.

“She is a real hero,” she continued.

The sender noted that she was “so stressed and embarrassed at [her] pure judgement” that she “didn’t even stop to thank her.”

“I am truly sorry about this,” the mother concluded.

PC Delia’s actions earned her endless praise from commenters, and it’s safe to say that she deserves it.

“A selfless gesture – admirable,” wrote one reader.

“God bless this police officer,” added another.
