A house of character in Ghaxaq, thought to be around 500 years old, has been earmarked for demolition.

Pictures of the house were shared to public Facebook group IL-KOTRA with the caption: "Probably a 500yr old house of character being demolished in Ghaxaq. What a pity! It has the cutest facade and structure."

Many expressed their sadness at the thought of the beautiful house being brought down, with one commentor calling for it to be restored instead.
