The sun is shining on this hot Thursday morning, and if you’re thinking of heading off to the beach, we don’t blame you! Not sure where to go? We’ve got you covered – here are today’s recommended bays, which are likely to be free from jellyfish, rough sea and any other such nasties.

Malta

In Malta, your best bet is to head to the south – think St Thomas Bay in Marsascala, Hofriet, Marsaxlokk and Pretty Bay in Birzebbugia. Other beauties, if you’re a fan of the open sea, include Wied iz- Zurrieq and Ghar Lapsi. Rinella Bay is also a good one today, and travelling further north, you can head to St George’s Bay, St Paul’s Bay, Mistra, Mgiebah and Mellieha.

Gozo 

If you’re on the sister isle today, Gozo’s recommended beaches include Hondoq ir-Rummien, the famous Ramla l-Hamra, Marsalforn, Qbajjar and Xwejni Bay. Over on the other side of the island, Dwejra, Xendi and Mgarr ix-Xini will also be winners today!
