The implementation of the Gozo Fast Ferry has been a godsend to many, sparing travellers the need to commute all the way to Cirkewwa before heading to the sister island.

Earlier today, the service operator announced that, as of Friday 8th July, it will be implementing a number of changes to its schedule in a bid to make it more efficient.

From this Friday, therefore, the last fast ferry will be leaving Mgarr (Gozo) at 10:30pm and Valletta at 9:30pm.

This only applies to the Monday to Thursday and Sunday schedule as Friday and Saturday will benefit from even later trips.

Every Friday and Saturday, the last fast ferries from Gozo and Valletta will leave at 12:30am and 11:30pm respectively.
