‘Modern Malta – its Art & Culture’: Exploring Maltese culture with Mariella Pisani Bencini at Culture Café

Culture Café will be hosting author, presenter, and television producer Mariella Pisani Bencini this month, who will present the topic ‘Modern Malta – its Art & Culture’, which aims to examine the island’s cultural landscape. The attendees will be invited to participate in a discussion with Mariella Pisani Bencini, who hosts the weekly television programme ‘Meander’, exploring arts and culture in Malta. In recognition of her tireless work in the promotion of Maltese culture, Mariella Pisani Bencini was granted the Society of Arts Gold Medal Award 2021, presented by H.E. the President of Malta, George Vella.

This meet-up makes part of the series of Culture Café gatherings, organised by NWAMI International Malta (NIM), which aims to foster a spirit of inclusion, community cohesion and multicultural integration. Culture Café is a place where Maltese and other international cultures meet, creating connections and leading towards a better understanding of the way others live.
